You are bidding on trio of Victorinox Swiss Army knives manufactured for the Hoffritz retail chain. There is an Executive model and 2 Classic SD models. All of the knives have the Hoffritz logo stamped into the front scale. The Executive and one of the Classics have the logo on the blade front tang and Victorinox is stamped on the back tang. The other Classic has the Victorinox tang stamp. There are a couple of exceptions to note on the Executive. First, the spring for the scissors is missing. Also, the tip of the knife blade is ever so slightly bent. Lastly, the Hoffritz logo is inlaid on this knife and the left side of the “H” is loose. All of these are small issues that someone with the tools and “know-how” could easily remedy. The Victorinox Classic SD model knife is a key chain/ring size knife with a number of useful implements on board. These include small blade, scissors, nail file with screwdriver tip, toothpick, tweezers and key ring. The Executive is a nicely tooled and very popular 74mm knife sporting a large blade, a knife blade, scissors, nail file, key ring, tweezers, toothpick and an orange peeler. A research visit to the Sakwiki website produced an interesting fact about this knife and its background with the Hollywood scene: “ The Executive is one of the few Swiss Army Knives used on the television show MacGyver which aired from 1985 to 1992 that can be positively identified thanks to the distinctive appearance of the orange peeler. For instance, episode fourteen of the first season had a scene in which the star of the show uses the orange peeler of an executive to pry the lids off of four tubes of acid that were part of a bomb. The opening credits for each show following the first season included a portion of this footage.” With the arsenal of tools included in this offering, you will never lack for an implement to accomplish any tool task at hand.
