This is a very interesting Nam SOG RT patch lot. It takes a bit of explaining. There was a man named Smith I believe (sorry, bought these 20 years or so ago and just found them in the back of the safe) who wrote extensively on Vietnam patch collecting. He went to Vietnam and had this set (and more) of in-Country patches made by the same makers that made during the war (hand and machine) to bring around as examples of patches that were exactly the same material and construction of war made patches for collectors to examine . Some he stamped lightly on the back "NOT ORIGINAL". This set is absolutely outstanding in quality and construction, so if you are a uniform collector who needs some original construction and material, IN-COUNTRY very rare patches, these are for you. Also would make an absolutely awesome framed display with an original MACV SOG 8x10 photo and other period (SOG Knife, beret, etc.) center. They also have a good historical provenance. *NOTE: In the next couple of weeks, I'll be listing an new/unused Burberry Trenchcoat in classic Khaki and a new/unused Blue XXL Burberry coat and some New Burberry Men's hats XXL. All hard as heck to find Burberry sizes.
