Old and large BUCK fighting knife in "as found" - uncleaned condition. Large old fighting knife - the 7 3/4 inch blade is stamped: BUCK (upside down). This is the earliest stamping - and was made between 1964 and 1968. I believe the model is called: the General # 120. I know very little about early BUCK knives - so I am not sure if the finish is still all the original factory finish (or not). It is not a mirror finish - but rather matt - with Very fine vertical lines. T is some spots of real light staining (back side). Aluminum cross guard and pommel with a few red spacers. Black composition handle - smooth finish overall - but t are a couple spots on the backside w the handle show real fine bumps (I have taken a picture to show that). Original heavy duty black leather sheath - has BUCK stamped on the front of the flap - and also on the silver closure snap. The leather shows just a few small spots of light wear. GREAT old Vietnam era BUCK fighting knife - honest and uncleaned - for your collection!! USPS Priority mail in cont. USA $ 8.75 - insurance extra, if requested. Please ask questions before you bid sales are final. The PayPal payment is expected within 5 days after the auction ended (unless you email me before you bid).
