What I have here is a real antique. According to the writing on the back of the picture frame, this was a gift from a Navy Chaplain to some soldier serving in Vietnam back in 1965. It's kind of blurry in the picture and difficult to read even in person but here's what I made out of it:Gift from Navy Chaplain Rev. Paul Running 1965 (Served)inSAIGON VIETNAMLCW Frogam PreacherNow the first name on that second person probably isn't Frogam but I really can't figure out who the picture was dedicated to. Maybe you or someone you know knew Reverend Paul Running and you could connect these dots better than myself. I don't know. What I do know is I have an antique from a world forgotten and something you definitely won't find anywhere else. For collectors of war memorabilia this might not look like much but it has been in the hands of at least a couple members of the US military and now it's in mine. It could be in your own.I've never sold anything like this before so honestly I don't know where to begin the bidding. I know this is a rarity so I'm going to price it accordingly but still low enough that anyone can have a chance at owning this piece of history. Bid early, bid often and good luck.
