Vietnam War , U.S. Navy, Large Size Submarine Jacket Patch, U.S.S. GUARDFISH, SSN 612, Vintage 1960’s made Jacket Patch, Excellent Condition. Nice original 1960’s made U.S.S. GUARDFISH Patch. The Patch is fully embroidered and is in excellent condition. Patch was removed from a Jacket and still has a few of the threads handing from the edge. All of the colors are nice and bright. The Patch measures about 5 1/2” x 4 3/4” inches. The U.S.S. GUARDFISH 612 was launched in 1965 and was a Thresher Class Submarine. The Patch has been black light tested and shows no evidence of any synthetic threads.
