books Search Saratoga Springs is a guide to the Mineral Springs, Hotels, Drives and All Points of Interest by William Stone. It has 32 pages and was published in 1866. It is accompanied by a slipcase that is entitled Views of Saratoga. T are 4 chromolithographs and a map in the slipcase and the guide book by Stone fits in the case. But I don't know if the two actually go together-haven't been able to find any information on this. One of the chromos is of Saratoga and the other three are of Lake George, Plattsburgh, and Burlington on Lake Champlain. The map is of the Lake Champlain and Lake George area. The map was published by T. Nelson and the guide book was also published by Nelson, so it would seem that this all started out life together. None of the chromos indicate a publisher. The chromos are in fine condtion, the guide book, which has paper covers, shows minor wear and the slipcase shows wear on the edges. It's an interesting, early group, but hopefully you know more than I do.We will ship by Media Mail or Priority Mail.
