This auction is for rare and cool promo items given to select media by the History Channel to promote the new miniseries event, Vikings starring TRAVIS FIMMEL, Jessalyn Gilsig, GABRIEL BYRNE, GUSTAF SKARSGARD, KATHERYN WINNICK, GEORGE BLAGDEN and CLIVE STANDEN . The winner gets: 1) A really cool press kit shaped like a shield. (measures 10" across) The books has 10 pages of glossy pictures of cast and production, actor and character bios, plot info and more. 2) a hard resin shield replica that has a photo of the character played by Fimmel. There is also another shield like cardboard piece that goes on back with Vikings logo. 3) bright red fabric VIKINGS flag ( measures 22" square), screenprinted on both sides. 4) the whole thing came wrapped in a rope with another paper cross on it as decoration. 5) There is also a disc that contains the first 5 episodes on it: Rites of Passage, Wrath of thhe Northmen, Dispossessed, Trail and Raid. ALL HAVE AIRED. NOT COPIED FROM TV. . fits in slot on inside of cover . Cannot buy this in stores. Must for collectors. The press kit, which is quite heavy, will be sent in a box featuring VIKINGS artwork on one side but it is not pristine. Address will be written on box and it has already been shipped once.
