This is for a vintage meat cleaver made by the "Village Blacksmith", Watertown, WI. The blade is approxamitelay 8" long x 1/4" thick and the handle is 5-1/2" long. Stamped on the blade it reads "Village Blacksmith, Watertown WIS" and on the handle is a decal that reads the same. About 15% of the decal has fallen off. I cleaned the blade with some WD-40, but it still has some black marks on it, plus t are some small pit marks on each side. The handle though is riveted on tight and the edge of the blade is in very good shape with no cuts or gouges. With a good sharpening, it would be a very useful knife. I do not know much about knifes and how to describe them, so if you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks for looking and God Bless!
