This plate, "Spring," is No.1 of Villeroy & Boch's "The Four Seasons" plate series. The unique piece is one of a series of four collection plates painted exclusively by the French artist Gerard Laplau, Paris for Villeroy & Boch. The plate, which measures 9 1/4" in diameter, is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing. The back of the plate has the Villeroy & Boch, Luxembourg stamp, and a description of the plate in French, English and German.The other three plates of the set are on offer in my other listings. They were all purchased in Belgium in the late-1980's.Please check my other listings.
