Villeroy and Naif Plate Hunter and Dog Plate is in mint condition, doesn't appear to have been used. Measures 101/2". co Naif Design dinnerware by Villeroy & Boch has been in production since about 1978, completely inspired by the naive paintings of a now famous artist, Gerard Laplau; Laplau's name now appears on each piece of dinnerware, within the print. It is said that Laplau first drew the attention of those who publish the Unicef cards, and about the same time, was noticed by Villeroy & Boch. Each item depicts one of Laplau's renditions of old French rural and urban life, as well as other various themes such as the Biblical story, Noah's Ark. Please look at my other Naifware auctions.
