My dad used to work for US Customs border patrol in Niagara Falls, NY. He would clear planes coming in and leaving out of the US and had the opportunity to meet lots of different players and coaches for lots of different teams. Knowing I was a big basketball fan growing up, he asked if they could send me something signed for my birthday one year. A few weeks later a package arrived with the attached letter stating that the shooting shirt had been signed by Vince Carter.
