THE VINCENT PRICE COLLECTION French Impressionist Seascape Original Mat and Frame With Provenance and Documentation Here is an original painting from the Vincent Price collection of art, which was selected by him and sold to the public through Sears Department Stores. This is a excellent French impressionist seascape. It is painted mostly in various shades of blue. It is signed by the artist Vashon on the lower right corner. Framed in an impressive classic molding of gold gilt wood, together with double mat, it compliments it extremely well. The overall frame size is 10 by 12 inches. There is also a label on the back of the frame which states it is from the Vincent Price art collection for Sears Department Stores and another label from the art gallery. Provenance and documentation: I knew Vincent Price when I first began my professional art career and this is one of the paintings that I obtained directly from Mr. Price when I was Director of Parke Gallery. Included with this original painting is one of my published interviews with Vincent Price that appeared in Success Magazine, along with a detailed letter of documentation.
