This is a working spartus spin start clock with the horse with the fancy saddle and other trappings /.It is 17 inches wide and 12 inches high on a wood base and has the beaded chain reins with the boots , hat , gun etc. on the front of the clock .Look at the patina in this collectible . These clocks were prizes of games of chance for pool halls and fairs or carnivals ..Most clocks I sell were manufactured following world war 2 when the manufactures ceased making things for the war effort and retooled to make things for public use . I don't claim to be a expert as most of my items are vintage [ 50 years old etc. ] so any defects will not distract from the display of the item .
