I got these at a church rummage sale. One of the glass wells has a crack (see photo 4) otherwise in excellent condition. I haven't attempted to clean or polish, what you see is what you get. I researched the hallmarks on these web sites http://www./hallmark.html and http://www.silvercollection.it/index.html and learned the set was assayed in Birmingham (anchor), it is sterling silver (lion) and was made in 1938 as indicated by the capital O. The maker's mark is "SP Co" stamped inside a square. I couldn't find a matching name. Shipping charges are figured on estimated package weight plus $1. If you have multiple wins that can be safely shipped in the same container, the cost is for actual weight plus $1. Insurance is optional and extra. You may refuse insurance if you are willing to accept any possible damage or loss by the postal service. The new USPS rates make international shipping very expensive, especially for items over 4 pounds, so check the calculator before bidding.
