This is a Vintage "The Desmond Stephan Mfg Co" Woodworking Vise W1010" wide and 12-3/8" Opening capacity with quick release feature.I have cleaned the rust on the casting with Evaporust and great ammount is just bare metal. The rails & Screw were cleaned with a wire wheel removing most of the rust.Everything works great.As seen on pics this specific model seems to have a taper from side to side as shown in pictures. Not sure if that is part of the design but I used a straight edge and the casting is flat so no problem there. If this is an issue for you, it can easily be fixed by making the wooden face plates with a slight taper and that solves it.Shipping may be expensive; its a big and heavy box (43LBS) but its due to me adding plenty of padding to keep the vise safe.FedEx or USPS ground shipping options.
