This vintage 10k Balfour ring was presented to a John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company representative, it is printed on front of ring.Inside the lettering is a coat of arms with Fidelity imprinted under it. One one side of shank is printed-1st Degree, the other side is printed-Old Guard. Balfour was the maker of class rings, sports rings and special order rings. It is printed on inner shank-Balfour GTC. Ring is 10k, tests positive for gold content, I have been told they did not always mark gold content on the older rings.Weight is 6.4gr, and ring is in excellent condition.
