1960's - 70's Vintage 10K Solid Gold Solid Hoop Earrings w/ Filigree Wonderful Estate Find*5+ Grams SOLID Gold*NOT G.F. ERs*NOT Hollow ERs Hello, everyone! I've made some minor changes, so please read carefully. Last summer, I told you that I had lots of vintage necklaces , earrings , bracelets , brooches , rings , cufflinks and more to auction. It is now spring of 2008, and I have only made a very small dent in my inventory!! Also, I recently began selling two separate estates, as well as misc. items for friends and family. WOW !! The estates belonged to two separate women who had many varied interests, as well as a large number of well established collections, so I'll now be selling an even wider variety of items such as old enameled glassware , art glass, dolls, doll clothes and accessories, as well as doll furniture, vintage sewing collectibles , even more jewelry - both gold and sterling , beautiful vintage hats and hand-tooled leather handbags and terrific vintage purses , paintings , enamelware , lovely old porcelain , including a collection of Hummel's , books , many one-of-a-kind items , and much, much more ! So, be sure to add me to your " favorites list !" Also , please make note that once in a while I may not have anything up for auction; that's because we help with the care of our grandson . It is all but impossible for me to work while we are caring for him. Offered for auction is an estate find; a very attractive pair of 10K SOLID gold hoop earrings that date from the 1960's, maybe 70's. This auction is a re-re-list!!! I am starting them at $9.99 with no reserve this time. The earrings are solid gold, not G.F. not gold plated . The earrings have fine filigree wire work that runs through their centers; if not for the filigree, the earrings would be too heavy to wear. Aside from the decorative filigree, the hoops are solid, not hollow inside and have a combined weight of 5+ grams! The filigree work, as well as the overall shape of the earrings (the earrings outer edge has an inverted scallopped shape), causes them to cast reflected light in all directions! This too enhances the overall appeal and attractiveness of the earrings, making them very noticeable and sexy! They have eye-catching appeal!! The hoops are ¾" in diameter. Each earring is marked " 10K ," along with the maker's mark. To be certain, I took them to my jeweler who confirmed they were 10K. The earrings each have a small gold loop that the earring wire fastens into; each wire fits tightly and securely in its gold loop closure. According to the seller, the earrings were worn very little and had been stored away; that explains their fantastic condition. The earrings are in excellent vintage condition, with no damage whatsoever. Each will be wrapped separately for shipping.
