You are bidding on an original vintage steam whistle made by an unknown maker that is 13 1/8 inches tall overall in good condition, based only on appearance.I have no way to test this to verify that it is operable, and no part of this whistle was attracted to a magnet, thus it is either made of brass or perhaps bronze, and has a very nice patina, The whistle when assembled weighs over five pounds, and the outside diameter of the whistle chamber is about 3 inches, inside diameter is about 2 7/8 inches, and the chamber itself is about 6 1/8 inches tall.The Acorn style nut is about 2 5/8 inches tall, the base is about 4 inches tall, the steam pipe inlet is about 1 1/4 inches.I have the whistle shown assembled and disassembled into 3 parts (shown in the last four images), and by a ruler so you can see how tall it is in the second image.I have the top, bottom, sides, and interior of the whistle chamber shown so you can assess its condition.Condition issues are that it is unknown if this is functional, however, there are a few scuffs, dings, and dents as you would expect to see on a vintage whistle.Foreign shipping is available upon request, but will be very expensive due to the size and weight of this, and will ONLY be shipped outside of the USA using USPS Express mail with complete tracking and insurance.If you have any questions, including
