Beautiful vintage 14 karat gold button style earrings with French clip backing. Almost 1 inch in diameter and in excellent condition. This beautiful pair of earrings are from the estate of Dr. Dwight and Letitia Teeter, prominent citizens of Knoxville Tennessee. Dwight � was the dean of journalism at the University of Tennessee until his retirement in 2014. Letitia, his wife passed away in 2009, and all of their possessions were auctioned this past weekend including many nice pieces of jewelry. She wore only nice quality pieces. This set is marked C . G. And 14k. They weigh 7.0 grams and the gold buyer offered $87.00 this afternoon July 14. � They are just too nice to scrap though. I am adjusting my opening bid to reflect scrap price.
