This is a vintage set of THEWORKS OF ALEXANDRE DUMAS Copiously Illustrated with Pen and Ink and WoodEngravings - Complete In Nine Volumes. Published by Peter Fenelon Collier, of New York in 1893. 7" x 10 1/2" hardback volumes. Vol. 1: The Count of Monte Cristo ; Vol. 2: The Three Musketeers, 20 Years After ; Vol. 3: The Vicomte De Bragelonne - Part One; Vol. 4: The Vicomte De Bragelonne - Part Two, Vol. 5: Marguerite De Valois, Chicot The Jester ; Vol. 6: Forty Five Guardsmen, The Conspirators, The Regents Daughter ; Vol. 7: The Memoirs of a Physician , Vol. 8: The Queen's Necklace, Taking the Bastile ; Vol. 9: The Countess De Charny, The Chevalier De Maison Rouge . The books are in Very Good condition, some of the covers are showing a fair amount of fading and some appear to possibly have some water damage, other wear is very moderate, definitely some corner bumping; there are some slight penciled markings on some of the inside cover pages , otherwise pages are in good condition. Bindings are in good shape and pages intact. Please check pictures carefully, sold "as is".
