Vintage 1896 bicycle & parts catalog for the products made by the Buffalo Cycle Co. of Buffalo, NY. Front and back cover are done as wonderful color lithographs by Gies & Co. of Buffalo. 16 pages inside (not all shown in pics) and 1st page with Buffalo head is also color lithograph by Gies & Co. Remaining pages discuss progress & improvements in bicycle manufacture, sketches & details of their "Envoy" & "Fleetwing" models of bicycles (includes details of wheels, cranks, pedals, chains, handle bar, saddle, finish & more), sketches & details of name plates, types of saddles, handle bars, hubs, tires made by Morgan & Wright with description & guarantee, Buffalo Cycle Co guarantee, Payment terms, and final page advises why riders should join the L.A.W. (League of American Wheelman) and application for membership. Measures 7 by 8 1/2 inches. Inside pages in outstanding condition. Outside covers show slight wear with minimal browning places from age mainly at edges, small & light corner bends and a couple nicks on edge of back cover. Pages are all still attached to the binder & turn easily. However binder is torn at top & bottom and remains attached to inside pages for about 3 inches near middle. (2nd to last picture shows binder). That all said, overall would say this is in very good condition at minimum for a paper booklet from 117
