A green tourmaline ring with diamond accents. Tested, 18 carat gold. '750' hallmark now reads '50' due to ring guard that was previously attached over the '7'. The ring was worn only a few times and is in like-new condition, except for the scratches made by the guard inside the band. (Without a jeweler's loupe or magnifying glass they are very hard to see.) The tourmaline is a medium-to-deep green color with hints of blue when viewed from the side and measures 9mm by 11mm (approximately 4.3 carats). The four tiny diamonds are 1.8mm in diameter; all stones are prong-set. 18k gold ring is approximately 17.5mm in diameter, putting it in the size 7 to 7.5 range. The jeweler said that this would sell for around $1,000 today.
