.. hope all of you had a great holiday. was able to get by to visit mrs. walker and she proveded me with another great box of goodies. this time t are a lot jewelers tools, all kinds of parts for repairing and making jewelry. and as usual some really great pieces, especialliy a lot great vintage but new charms gold and sterling. i am still trying to clean out the office so t will be a lot of box lots as well. of course am still working on all the older estate jewelry. so i am sure you will find something of interest. . remember i list only sunday to sunday, so you need only check my auctions once a week to see if i have anything you might be interested in. . also i combine shipping on all multiple purchases to save money on shipping. . .. this comes from a dear friend of my moms. i sold some dolls for one of her other friends so i really could not say no to this lady. well everything sold from the first box load and when i took her the check she surprised me with another box full, thats been going on for months and from what i can understand t will be more to come . she and her husband ran the local jewelry store for years. when he suffered from a terminal illness in the late 70's they closed the doors to the store. well what we have are brand new vintage items. kind of sounds like a oxymoron to me. how can something vintage be brand new but that is the case. these lovely pieces of jewelry are still in the cases as they were in their store 30 some odd years ago. still have 1970 prices on some of them. also in researching some of these pieces they are even older than that i guess having been in the store for years and not selling, guess they did not have sales to get rid of old inventory. t are even some very old antique pieces that are not new in boxes, but i am assuming perhaps they took the pieces in trade and/or purchased them for the metal and stone content. . this is a new piece never sold never worn. long band ring and quite thick. it is marked on the insie fo the band 18K. nice rich gold color. the band is 2mm wide and 2mm thick. . it is a size 5 3/4. weighs 2.5 grams. . . . I DO NOT CLEAN THEM, BUT DUST OFF ENOUGH TO CHECK FOR ANY DAMAGE OR MARKS AND BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO RUIN THEM BY CLEANING IN THE WRONG MANNER. I LEAVE THE PROFESSIONAL CLEANING UP TO YOU.
