Vintage 19 piece Noritake Art Deco Coffee / Tea Set This lovely ivory, rust and white china Art Deco period set that includes the covered coffee / tea pot, creamer, covered sugar bowl and 4 cups with saucers, and 6 luncheon plates is marked with the Morimura M surrounded by the Noritake wreath. I have read that they have been exporting china products to the United States for over 100 years. I have been unable to identify the pattern, but the mark is consistent with the Art Deco period of 1918-21. The set is in excellent very condition. Looks very well cared for, no utensil marks, chips, cracks or crazing noted. The pot measures approximately 7 inches tall and 10 inches from spout to handle, the sugar bowl is approximately 5 inches high and 6 1/4 inches handle to handle, the creamer is approximately 3 3/4 inches high and 5 inches handle to spout, the cup is approximately 2 inches high and 2 5/8 inches across the rim, the saucer is approximately 5 inches in diameter, and the luncheon plate is 7 ¾ inches in diameter. This set belonged to a wonderful woman who recently passed away, and makes a gorgeous table setting and a wonderful addition to any collection. Please email any questions before bidding.
