VINTAGE c.1910 SODA FOUNTAIN ICECREAM PARLOR CAKE CONE DISPENSER Extremely beautiful original example of this turn of the century Ice cream cone jar! This piece would be seen sitting on the counter of your local Soda Fountain some 100yrs. ago ready to dispense a cakecone for your icecream! This piece measures 14" in height to the top of the lid's knob & 6 3/8" in diameter! The glass itself is crystal clear without any chips,cracks or sick glass from any abuse! This glass jar is thick & heavy showing wavy glass,seed bubbles & straw marks typical of commercial glass of this era! The lid & insert are as clean as I've ever seen & show no plating loss whatsoever from years of use! I've photo'd the insert from every angle & the last photo shows the underside of the insert (not as shiny as the top)! This Cone jar has been in my collection for close to 40 yrs. & it would be virtually impossible to find a cleaner example!! Would make a wonderful addition to any Soda fountain, Ice cream parlor,Diner,Luncheonette,Drugstore, Apothecary,Malted milk,Syrup dispenser,or Straw holder collection!!
