Vintage 1915 Boy Scouts of America Uniform You are bidding on a vintage 1915 Boy Scouts of America uniform. The uniform was worn by my Grandfather. Gently used. T is a 1 1/2 inch x 1 inch area on the back of the right sleeve that shows wear and tear. Two small holes go through the material that approximately measure 1/2 inch in length. The uniform shows no signs of laundering. The color is khaki brown and appears to be of a canvas cloth. All buttons are attached. Large hook and eye closure on the collar of the military-style jacket and waistband of knickers. The jacket has a sewn in label in which the last line reads: "Any other boy than a Boy Scout who attempts to purchase or wear this uniform will be regarded by other boys and the officers of the Boy Scouts as an imposter." The jacket was made by Sigmond Eisner, Official National Outfitter, Red Bank NJ. The inside of the jacket and knickers are imprinted with the Boy Scout of America insignia/crest. The uniform also includes the pocket cards dated 1915. The cards consist of the Scout Oath, Certification of Member, and the Morse Code Alaphabet. My Grandfather signed and dated the pocket cards on April 30, 1916. The cards come in a handmade cardboard envelope. Please e-mail seller any and all questions before bidding as you are bidding on this item "as is"RESERVE is set at $250.0 read more
