~Vintage 1917 Poland Polish Freedom Pillow Slipcover WWI, NR~ This is for a vintage hand embroidered pillow slipcover. It has a crowned eagle with a banner and shields and the words "Niech zyje Polska" embroidered on the front. T are also the numbers 1917 and some other letters and numbers that don't make any sense. I know the words I listed above are in Polish but couldn't find a translation for them except Polska which is Poland in polish. I think that it might have something to do with a free and independent Poland but I'm not sure. T was some effort at this time to set up an independent Poland but I'm not sure. It has what sort of looks like gimp trim and it open on one side to slip a pillow inside. It is 15.5"x18" in size. I will be listing other vintage linens this week and will gladly combine shipping. Pillow is in fair shape. T is some staining to it and it looks a bit grimy. I didn't try to wash it will leave that to the buyer. Not sure what type of fabric it is. Doesn't appear to have any rips or repairs. Emboidery is in good shape. It has been in a smoke free environment. Please see pictures below. Nice addition to your collection. Please email with any questions. Buyer to pay shipping and any insurance within 7 days of end of auction. Thanks for bidding and take a look at my other auctions. ~No Reserve~
