VINTAGE 1918 GEORG JENSEN STERLING SWAN PIN This is a special STERLING SILVER swan pin created by Danish designer GEORG JENSEN. It is dated from 1918. The swan is carved out of the silver in a three dimentional relief in an octagonal frame. On the back the marks stamped are as follows; to the left the words Georg Jensen in an oval of dots, to the right the initials GI in a circle of dots, in the center the word STERLING with the word DENMARK underneath, the number 925 on top and the number 213 on the bottom with the letter B below that. From my research this configuration of marks was only done in 1918. It measures 1 inch wide and 3/4 inch high. The pin is in excellent condition. This swan pin is from my personal collection. I think it would appeal to Jensen collectors as well as those who collect swans or birds. I have been an eBay seller for four years and am just getting back into the swing of things.
