This is a vintage original 1920's Schlitz Famous Malt Syrup embossed metal beer sign! Please see all pictures as they are a big part of our description. This very colorful vintage sign measures approximately 23 1/2" x 11 3/4". This is a very rare metal sign to be from the Prohibition era, when many breweries sold malt products instead of beer. The fine print in the lower left corner shows some sort of number register (no. 106), the lower right corner says "The Donaldson Art Sign Co. Covington, Ky." Outstanding graphics, lettering, condition and rarity make this vintage sign a winner all the way around!! The sign has wear from age, some rust as shown in pictures, holes were added in the corners and center top and bottom for mounting, in addition there is some wear and denting. The colors remain vibrant and bright! A rare one not to be missed!! I have adjusted price equitably for condition. Feel free to ask any questions prior to purchase.
