This is a very scarce and rare 1900's - 1920's cardboard agricultural advertising sign from Chicago Illinois for farmers to sell their grain to the H.H. Carr & Co. based at 40 Board of Trade, Chicago. The sign is blue and white on the front as shown with nice graphics showing a farmer throwing a thumb over his shoulder towards a railroad train heading into the city of Chicago as noted by the word CHICAGO over the image of the city. The sign reads as follows: Farmers! The Best Way To Sell Your Grain. Ship it to us and save Middleman's Profit - Address For Full Particulars - H.H. Carr & Co. 40 Board Of Trade. Chicago. The sign measures approx. 5 1/2" inches wide x 25" inches long. A fantastic piece of Illinois history and a great agricultural piece for the farm collector.
