So amusing - a part of History gone by! This auction is for paperback Booklet titled " Bridal Silver and Wedding Customs " by Emily Post and published by Towle Silversmiths . It is from 1929 and gives advice on preparations for a wedding, BUT the underlying message is to sell the bride-to-be on Towle Sterling Silver - tricky tricky !! It has 26 pages; starting at about the middle of the booklet are Towle renderings of their sterling silver patterns in the late 1920's : Lady Diana Louis 14th ~~ the last picture shows a spread with this pattern (I'm sure the bride got all that for gifts!!) Virginia Carvel Lady Constance LaFayette Seville Mary Chilton Lady Mary D' Orleans Condition : Very well preserved used condition. No pen or pencil marks, torn, soiled,or creased pages .
