My mom would bring out this wonderful teddy bear and show it to me every few years when I was a child, but she never let me play with it. I wish I knew more about it but she passed away 5 years ago so I'll never know the whole story. She was born in 1926 and was the oldest of five kids and her youngest siblings were born in the 1930's. The teddy bear is in such nice condition that it makes me wonder if anyone was ever allowed to play with it! He's 18" tall and his arms, legs and head are movable. I've kept him safely tucked away in a glass door display cabinet, but he deserves to go to a home with someone who can truly enjoy owning him. He will be shipped via insured priority mail.
