Lovey, vintage 1930s to 1940s, antique miniature mannequin or counter top dressmaker's doll. Original wooden stand, and her arms move so she can be posed. Made of some composition type material, with lovely hand painted hair and features. I bought this last week at a local flea market and do not know exactly what this is for, but I was told it was used to dress up for display in a dressmaker's window or counter top, or for sewing classes for making sample outfits and learning to tailor the clothing. We used her for a photo shoot to display our antique millinery feathers and trims and have no place to store her, and so am passing her on to someone who will love her properly. Intact, her arm has been repaired long long ago. Selling her "as found". I have not cleaned this and it has some mild surface marks, a surface crack across her collarbone area, some wear, etc....please see the photos. She stands approx 12 1/2 inches high plus the stand is 2 1/2 inches high for a total of 15". Trademarked impression on the back (see photo) but I cannot make out what it says. PLEASE ASK if you have questions as I am not a collector of this type of thing. Please see the entire description for details and scroll ALL the way down. I took many photos for you.
