A unique opportunity to own a piece of Preston North End memorabilia. This is the vaulting horse which graced the gym in Preston North End's old Pavilion Stand, and dates back to the 1930's. The photograph shows the vaulting horse in the actual gym at the time, and comes with a certificate of authenticity (pictured) from the club and signed by the then Chairman, Derek Shaw. The vaulting horse is in good condition with plenty of wear to the padding, where the hands of many Preston North End players have touched it over the years. The horse does divide into three pieces and so will fit into any reasonably sized hatchback car, and is for collection only. I can deliver locally if necessary, but please contact me before making a bid in this case. I have other Preston North End items for auction including a dressing room peg from the same era with a certificate of authenticity, and an original 1970's silk scarf.
