Up for auction is a Rare Vintage 1931 Mobiloil, Vacuum Oil Company Barrel. The Barrel Measures 12 3/4" in diameter and 21 1/2" tall. On the top of the barrel it says "Mobiloil" and "Vacuum Oil Company". On the Bottom it in raised letters " Net Contents 10 Gallons" "10-23-31 DMC" and in black stencil " GROSS S7, TARE II, MOBILOIL, 25, P-4-27-31". On the front is has the MOBILOIL AND GARGOYLE logo. The barrel weighs just about 13 pounds. T are no contents in it. Most items come from Estate Sales. Quite often I do not know the history some of these items.
