Miniature 1933 souvenir jug with handle from the UHL Pottery Co., Huntingburg, Indiana. Graphics read: "Christmas Cheer From Uhl Pottery Company 1933." (The numbers are smudged so it's difficult to tell if the date is 1933 or 1923 but based on others that I have, I think it is 1933.) Measures approximately 3 1/2" tall and 1 1/2" diameter. In the late 1950s my friend's father gave me several of these jugs when he was cleaning out his garage. They have been stored in a box in various closets since then. Graphics on this jug are difficult to read on the dark brown background but the second picture is a pretty accurate portrait of the jug in "normal" lighting. Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks although there is visible crazing as expected for its age but nothing that has cracked or broken through the glaze. Pictures were taken in various lighting and different angles to give the best preview but please review pictures and description carefully and feel free to ask questions before bidding.
