You are buying a Vintage 1939 Silvertone Sears Roebuck Tube Radio/Scanner It comes with all of the original parts from what I can see, It is in a beautiful wooden cabinet that does have some wear and scratches but as you can see in the photos it still polishes up really nice, I used some Old English light wood scratch remover and polisher and it hides all of the little scratches great. Even before I polished it up the marks weren't bad so please look at the photos closely. The buttons are labeled WEEI WNAC WBZ WCSH WTIC, It also says that it is Silvertone Radionet with special noise reducing aerial system, it uses tubes and you can see directly inside it through the back, the back of the radio is opened so you can see everything that is inside. It is made by Sears, Roebuck and CO.-USA and the number is 101 570, not sure if that is the model number or the serial number. It measures 15in long, 9 3/4in tall, 6 1/2in deep, so it is a tabletop system. The system does work when it wants too, which is more than when it works and I am not sure if it is a scanner or a radio but when I adjust some of the settings when it works I can hear voices but it is hard read more
