Vintage 1940’s Varney passenger train. Printed acetate-side cars in the two-tone blue scheme, similar to B&O. Some cars have underbody detail, such as was common then, some don’t. All are in very nice shape with recently painted roofs and underbodies, and all have MDC "Challenger" trucks, some plastic, some metal. 7 complete cars are: baggage, coach, Pullman, diner, observation and Rio Ojinaga (2). One extra body, painted the same, is included with one not-so-good diner side so that if you find the Atlantis sides you can match the set. Note that the photo of the observation car makes the car sides look spotty or deteriorated. They aren’t—it’s just that the photo was so dark it degraded when I lightened it in Photoshop. It is included to show roof color, which is a medium gray. No couplers installed (but I can supply original dummy ones or horn-hooks on request), no original boxes, no reserve.
