MAKE ME AN OFFER by ! Vintage FE OLDS Ambassador Trombone.Comes with Hard Case (unknown Brand, Later Model..) Has a "CONN 3" Mouthpiece with it.The slide slides in and out really nice, and makes "trombone-noise" when you pucker and blow through it, although that has been the extent of my testing, as I don't play the Trombone!OK... I have researched SOME on the Internet, trying to determine the exact AGE of this Trombone. The Serial Number is either "143734" OR "43734"... It is hard to tell, as it is worn down some, and even with a jeweler's loupe, it's hard to determine if that is a "1" in the front of it, or not... At ANY RATE, that is either going to make it roughly a 1949 Model or a 1954-1955ish Model. On the main piece of the Trombone, it does have the number "84" stamped near where the slide part fits in...The Bell says " AMBASSADOR, MADE BY FE OLDS & SON, LOS ANGELES, CALIF."As you can see, there are a few small dings on the bottom side of the Bell... But, overall, I think this would probably make a GREAT Trombone... either for Restoring/Refinishing or just playing! I am OPEN to OFFERS, so MAKE ME AN OFFER by !
