Circa early 194o's Hobe Sterling Silver Bracelet with ornate rose floral leaf design . Secure clasp & safety chain. Signed: Hobe Sterling .Measures: 7-3/4" (including clasp) in length x 1" in width. Weighs: 34.1 grams. Excellent Vintage Condition. Selling from my personal collection. Free USA Shipping. Re-listing due to non-paying bidder. HOBE JEWELRY 1927 to 1992 in America: Hobe et Cie was founded in Paris in 1887 by Jacques Hobe. His concept was to use fine jewelry techniques and non-precious materials to create jewelry for the middle class as well as for the wealthy. Brought to America in 1915 by his son William, Hobe jewelry was popular not only with everyday customers, but also with the Hollywood stars and such luminaries as Flo Ziegfield. Inspired by period jewelry of the past, Hobe jewelry had an historic flavor. The name HOBE is synonymous with quality, especially in their earlier pieces.
