The music box has a finely crafted, elegantly simple wooden case to hold its superb Swiss mechanism. The music box is accompanied by 3 Thorens music discs including:~Lohengrin's Wedding March, D53~Rigoletto, D458~Marche Royale, NH523In overall good condition with minor surface scratches to the box. The mechanism winds and runs, but the discs often hiccup and cease to play despite there is more time remaining to the spin. It is unclear whether this is a problem with the discs or the mechanism. With the exception of one, all of the teeth on the mechanism appear to be present.To see and hear the music box play a tune, The box measures 10 1/8" x 6 1/4" x 4". The discs are 4 7/16" diameter. With a little TLC, this music box will make a wonderful collectible.
