This is a vintage 1947 Parker 51 Fountain Pen with a 1/10 16K Gold Filled cap and gold clutch ring. The pen has a gray barrel and is approx 5 3/8" in length. The pen has a Parker 14K gold hooded fine nib with no damage and with both irdiums intact. The barrel has no cracks but does show several large nicks on the hooded portion of the barrel. The Parker imprint with the date code of "7" is only lightly worn and easily read. The cap is in very good shape and shows only one small ding and only light brassing. The cap jewel is intact and free of chips or nicks. The Blue Diamond on the clip is intact along with most of the blue enamel also intact. The pen is a plunger filler with the filling mechanism intact. The pen will need a replacment bladder and refurbishment before it will write.
