For your consideration a full size (1947) VINTAGE WW II Army of Occupation military medal in original BOX with original pin-on ribbon. Medal is in very good condition. Box is in good condition except one corner of lid is torn, still nice. No reserve. 3 day return policy. Thanks for looking!! Created by the United States War Department in 1946 to recognize 30 days of consecutive service by members of the US Army and US Army Air Force while assigned to any of the following: Army of Occupation of Germany 9 May 1945 to 5 May 1955 Army of Occupation of Austria 9 May 1945 to 27 July 1955 Army of Occupation of Berlin 9 May 1945 to be determined Army of Occupation of Italy 9 May 1945 to 15 September 1947 Army of Occupation of Japan 3 September 1945 to 27 April 1952 Army of Occupation of Korea 3 September 1945 to 29 June 1949 Service Qualifying for the Berlin Airlift Device Worn on the suspension ribbon of this medal is the bar "GERMANY" or "JAPAN". In addition, qualified personnel are authorized to wear the "Berlin Airlift Device" on both the suspension ribbon and the service ribbon. Will ship to United States and Canada.
