1950 Rose Bowl ticket stub STUDENT TICKET RARE!! Tunnel 7, Row 30, Seat 115 Overall condition is in excellent! The 1950 Rose Bowl, played on Monday, January 2, 1950. This was the 36 th Rose Bowl Game . The game was played between the 6-1-2 Ohio State Buckeyes led by coach Wes Fesler and coach Pappy Waldorf's 10-0 Cal Bears. The game was a rematch of the 1921 Rose Bowl where Ohio State and Cal both played in the teams first bowl game which Cal won 28-0. Ohio State got revenge this time with the end result 17-14. MVP of the game was Fred "Curly" Morrison who rushed for 119 yards and was inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall Of Fame in 1993.
