DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is this neat old metal canister set. The set was manufactured by "Luce Mfg. Co. Groton, VT" . The sets name is "Blue Magic - Krispy Kan" . The set features a "Dri-NOB" top handle that contains blue magic crystals that keep the contents of the cans dry. The Dri-Nob can be re-charged by placing them in an oven to dry out the magic crystals. This set contains 3 cans, the largest being 7" diameter, the middle size being 6" diameter and the smallest being 5" diameter. The tallest can measures 8" tall. I believe these cans were made in the late 1940's to early 1950's. CONDI TION : The set is in fairly good condition for their age. T are the usual small nicks and stains on the surfaces from handling. T a couple of very minor dents or creases in the lids. The insides are in pretty good condition with minimal or no rust showing. The set could use a good cleaning and shining up. ask any questions prior to bidding on this item. Thanks. U.S.A.
