Offered in this auction:Vintage ~1950s Grimm's fairy tales block picture puzzle Hermann Eichhorn W. Germany .A very nice block (cube) puzzle set by Hermann Eichhorn. The back of the box features the Eihhorn logo of a squirrel in a triangle with letters "H E". The plastic box is marked "Made in W. Germany" and measures ~5½" x ~4½".The cover images shows some fading, but the box is free of cracks or and the hinges remain strong. Inside is the complete set of 12 wood puzzle blocks ~1¼" each side with images from 6 different Grimm fairy tales on the facets.Images include: Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, the Frog Prince, Hansel & Gretel, and Little Red Riding Hood. The set includes 4 of the 6 image pattern sheets (it is missing Snow White, but the image is on the box lid, and Hansel & Gretel), most in nice shape but 1 has a small tear .*** All photos are of the actual item offered for sale - no stock photos. I've included several scans so that you can assess for yourself the specifics of condition. ***Note : I am working my way through 5 boxes of antique books & ephemera, photographs & stereoscopic cards , postcards and travel souvenirs to list here on eBay.
