This is a genuine hand-worked embroidery from the 1950s or 1940s. It is a cushion cover, worked in tapestry wool on a cream coloured counted-thread background. Size approx 50 cm square. The embroidery shows blue tits on blossom with a border and foliage. Some pulled threads and browning on fabric, plack embroidered border is coming loose in a couple of places. Zip has been removed from cover. A really sweet vintage embroidery which could look wonderful in a shappy chic frame.
