This beautiful 100% wool rug hails from the 1950's. Lanamar Sarouk Pattern 5528 was part of a line released in 1950 from the Karastan weavers. As in the link below, the 9 X 12 version sold at that time for $220.00. It is exceptional condition for it's age free from stains, tears, low spots and smells. It is a bit dusty despite being vacuumed so could use a good beating or cleaning depending on your preference. As Karastan writes: "Karastan celebrates the art of style.
