Vintage mid-to-late 1950s Lionel Train set. Though this set was used, the owner obviously took good care of it. Some of the cars are almost pristine (see photos), and there are some original boxes. This set includes the following: 1615 Engine & Tender w/ original boxes 6464475 Freight car (great find in this condition) 6536 Minneapolis & St. Louis Hopper Car w/ original box c. 1958 6462 Gondola Car w/ box 6812 track maintenance car (missing railings) 6119 work car (not shown in set picture but is pictured separately) 6047 Caboose 6029 Track disconnector w/ box 1044 transformer tested and working 1044 transformer not tested, has one broken shaft1014 transformer not testedcontrol switch streetlights (3) straight track (14) curved track (22) manuals (2)I set up everything and tested it to be sure it runs. There's routine maintenance that a train lover will want to do; but I just wanted to make sure it was in running condition. I have a video I can send to anyone who wants to see the set running. I don't know whether the engine has a smoke or whistle feature and didn't test for that. Domestic shipping & handling is FREE.Common wisdom says I would get more money by splitting up the set and selling everything separately, but it would be more fun to see it go to one family or collector.
