Vintage "Cookies All Over" Cookie Jar with Walnut Handle Great Christmaspresent for someone who remembers this co0kie jar sitting on their mother's orgrandmother's kitchen counter! This is the smaller version of the NAPCO "Cookies" cookie jar with 4 cookies on the lid. Measures 8" tall with lid on and is 5-1/2" in diameter. Beautiful vibrant colors! The base is in excellent shape. It does not have any chips or cracks anyw! It does have some light staining on the outside bottom...probably from all the cookies it held over the years! The lid does not have any chips except for one small flick on the underside of the rim. T is a 2" light hairline crack on the top, but otherwise this cookie jar is in great shape! It have very little glaze crazing that is usually associated with older cookie jars.Marked Japan on the bottom. Please check out my other auctions. I am also selling the larger version of this cookie jar with 5 cookies on the lid and also the larger Los Angeles Potteries version of this cookie jar that does not have any cookies on the lid.
